Eleanor Boxerman nee Glazer, 89, beloved wife of Albert for 70 years; loving mother of Naomi (Ronnie) Ban, Susan (David) Kraemer, Deborah Boxerman (Michael Rosenbaum) and Samuel Boxerman (Debbie Vodenos); cherished Savta of Ephraim, Yonina (Yosi), Ariel, Talia, Liviya, Daniel, Hannah, Josh and Aaron; devoted Savta Mom of Ori, Eilam and Amitai. Eleanor earned a Masters in Special education and was a dedicated teacher at Wauconda High School and Barat College for many years. Eleanor put her energy into caring for others, selflessly committing herself with resolve and quiet strength to her family, her students and to Jewish causes, particularly as a strong supporter of Pioneer Women/NA’AMAT. Chapel service, Sunday 12 Noon at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NA’AMAT USA.
